(Notice to readers: From now on, all posts will be made both in English and Irish. This will help people learn Irish, make it easier for people who speak no Irish to read our posts, and make Béal na Tíre a more successful newspaper. If a post is in one language exclusively, such as an opinion piece, we will explicitly state it. Thank you)

Ar an Aoine beidh reifreann i Léiloindístáin ar Bunreacht nua. Scríobh an Chomhairle Feidhmitheach é, agus d’eagraigh siad an reifreann freisin. Beidh an vótáil ar siúl ar feadh trí lá, ó maidin De hAoine go dtí trathnóna Dé Domhnach. Buailfeadh an Comhairle arís ar Dé Domhnach chun na vótaí a chomhaireamh, agus chun na aistriúchán, mar a léirtear sa Bunreacht, a tosnú.

Má ritear an Bunreacht, tharlóidh a lán athrú i Léiloindístáin. Beidh Comhairle Réigiúnach i gach ceantar, cosúil le Cnoc an Mailp, agus an Caochóg. Beidh teachta ó gach ceantar sa Tionóil Náisiúnta. Beidh níos lú saoránaigh, tosc go cuirfeadh an ríoltas cosc ar saoránachas muna bhfuil tú i do chónaí i Léiloindístáin. Tharlóidh a lán aistriú eile san airm, san ríoltas agus timpeall na tíre. Tá chóip den Bunreacht ag gach saoránach. Beidh nuacht eile ón reifreann againn ar Dé hAoine, agus ar Dé Domhnach. Fan linn!

On Friday, there will be a referendum on the new Constitution in Leylandiistan. It was written by the Executive Council, and the Council also organised the referendum. Voting will last for three days, from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. The Executive Council will meet again on Sunday to count the votes, and to begin the implementation of the changes of the new Constitution if it is approved.

If the Constitution is approved, a lot of changes will take place in Leylandiistan. There will be a Regional Council in each territory, such as Robinscourt and the Cubbyhole. There will be less citizens, as only territorial residents and diplomatic staff will be allowed citizenship. All citizens will have to reapply for citizenship, and external citizenship will be scrapped. Many more changes will take place in the army, within the government and elsewhere around the country. Every citizen has a copy of the constitution now. We should have more news on the story on Friday and on Sunday. Watch this space!
